What is Navigation?
Navigation is one of the features, shown as a menu option, within the main screen of
Your Navigator. Navigation provides turn-by-turn directions with audible prompts when you are approaching a turn.
-
Do I incur data charges while I'm following my route?
No. All of the directions are downloaded at the beginning of the route. As long as you don't go off route, no additional air time will be used.
-
What happens if I miss a turn, or if I know a better way?
If you miss a turn, or if you go off route, Navigator will automatically contact the server and download new directions.
-
Can I place a call while navigating?
Yes. You can press the Send key and place a call at any time. You can call your destination, someone in your phone book or dial any number. Navigation will be suspended during the call. At the end of the call, Your Navigator will determine your location and will continue to guide you. It may be necessary for Your Navigator to contact the server to update the directions.
