WILD WEST BLACKJACK
User Guide

Betting

An allowable bet is between $10 and $100, you can increase and decrease your bet by selecting the bet option from the main menu.

Buying Insurance

If the dealer is showing an ace, you have the chance to purchase insurance for half the amount of your current bet.  If you choose to purchase insurance, the dealer will view their down turned card.  Insurance is a safeguard against a dealer blackjack, so if the dealer has a blackjack, you break even.

Splitting Hands

If you are dealt a pair of matching cards, you will be offered a chance to split your hand.  Your current bet will be applied to each hand you split off.  Once you finish the current hand, you will play out your previously split off hands.  If you split a pair of Aces, you will receive only one additional card on each Ace.

Doubling Down

Doubling down is offered on hands with a count of 9, 10, or 11.  If you choose to double down, your bet is twice the original bet, and you will receive only one additional card.

Hitting and Staying

Choose “hit me” to receive another card, and “hold” to stay with current your hand.

House Rules

Dealer stays on soft 18, and stays on hard 17.

If the dealer busts (goes over 21) all of your active hands will win.

Otherwise each of your hands will be compared against the dealer's count.  All hands that are closer to 21 than the dealer will win.

All ties result in a push and no money changes hands.

Blackjack pays at 3:2.
